Hello , I am Aleksandra Staszko also know by my nickname Ola . I am Warsaw born and Warsaw base Costume Designer.
I am an author of costumes to over 20 future films, TV dramas and TV series. My works include such pieces as "Cold war" by Pawel Pawlikowski, Oscar winning "Ida" by Pawel Pawlikowski, “MR JONES” BY AGNIESZKA HOLLAND ,"Demon" by Marcin Wrona, "Baby Bump" by Kuba Czekaj, "Imagine" by Andrzej Jakimowski, and many other.
I have been studying Social Studies at Warsaw University and Art at the Gerriet Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
In 2003 I was rewarded for best costumes at polish gdynia film festival, for the costumes to squint your eyes by andrzej jakimowski
In 2006 I have participated in berlinale talent campus
In 2013 I got nominated for best costumes to Ida by pawel pawlikowski at orły polish film academy reward
Since 2014 I am a member o European Film Academy as well as Polish Film Academy.
In 2019 I became a member of Academy of Motion picture arts and science
My job , Costume Designing and movie making is my great passion .
